February Monthly member initiative Completion ❤

With all the chaos and struggle that the country is going through, with time we managed to finish building a sanitation unit for Sarath’s family of two children in Rambukwella East. The father of this family is unemployed due to health conditions. The daughter is still schooling and the son has stopped school and tried to find work to support the family even at his young age.

Many of you might think this toilet is unsafe and unsanitary for use, but for this family, this is what they settled for - They had no other option. With your monthly member donations last February, we tried to help them build a basic unit that will support their day-to-day needs.

A unit like this would cost about USD 300 - 350 but makes a world of difference. It's Hygenic and safe - two things you can give someone out there like Sarath’s family and with your help! If you wish to support drop us a message.

For this initiative, we want to Thank our monthly members for helping with these ongoing initiatives and making the world a nicer place to be ❤
