COVID food packs for urgent needs - Birthday fundraisers

20 more families were fed during the pandemic in the areas of Nilpanagoda, Kiridiwela with Covid ration packs.. As we have been stating over the past several months, it's unfortunate but the requests for food have not stopped since covid has brought fear and anxiety into people's day-to-day lives, and lifestyles have been disturbed..

The funding for this has been with two fundraisers by Heshali and Devni. We distributed food packs of Rs. 5000 to 20 families who deserve the most. These families were dependent on their day jobs, and now, most of the work has been halted, they are very much struggling to try to make ends meet.

For the distribution effort, we are indeed grateful for the volunteer team of @Hard truths. It’s a time that everyone’s safety is in question and @harshana and the team have done a wonderful job continuing to work with our raise Sri Lanka team during the pandemic!
