Corporate giving for Severe Acute Malnutrition in Sri Lanka

The final two rounds of the “Feed a Child” program partnered with the college of Pediatricians are sponsored through a Corporate donation by Ocean Partners.

Special thank you to Mr Chamath Kodagoda for the kind gesture in suggesting Raise Sri Lanka as a beneficiary charity for 2022 corporate giving program of his company.

Raise Sri Lanka managed to raise over USD 14,000 for the “Feed a Child” initiative over the last 6 months. This effort would not be successful if not for the various individuals who came forward to create birthday fundraisers, generic donations and supporting in various other means.

Once we complete the last round of donations in March, we will share a comprehensive report of the children with severe acute malnutrition(SAM) moving towards moderate acute malnutrition (MAM). As per the college of pediatricians, the preliminary data are very promising with weight gain and the conversion rates of the children’s health.
