Benevity Causes - Corporate giving Donations 2022

Last year we enrolled with benevity causes portal and become eligible for corporate giving programs, and it has been a great step in our fundraising journey. We have been eligible for corporate donations of over USD 7000 in the last 6 months and today we managed to make a donation of LKR 2.6 million worth of cancer medicine to Maharagama Apeksha Cancer Hospital.

The donation was received by the Director - of Apeksha Cancer Hospital, Dr. Aruna Jayasekara today in the presence of Dr. Harindri Dinushika Pathiraja who has keenly worked with us in the past two weeks in coordinating this effort along with the pharmacist Miss. Sumudu and the supplier Esses Pharma. Attached invoice and appreciation letter from the hospital.

We want more of you to be encouraged to use your organization's corporate donation platforms to enroll us in giving programs. These do not cost you any money and although you would not see the impact of your small gestures by getting our Raise Sri Lanka charity onboard to your organization's giving programs, in the long run, it makes a huge impact - In this case, you managed to lend a hand for cancer patients with their daily medication that has been in short supply for the past months.
