Warakapola base hospital: Urgent Medicine: DONATION (12) COMPLETION

Warakapola base hospital requested assistance with the most urgent out-of-stock medicine. We tried to meet a portion of their requirements based on the availability of stocks from three different local suppliers with a lot of difficulties using the donations we had in hand.

The staff was immensely grateful and Dr. Amjed Duwegoda (Director of Warakapola base hospital) received the donation in the presence of Dr. Udayanga. Two of our volunteers Mr. Gaveshka and Mr. Ravishan represented Raise Sri Lanka in this hand-off.

Dr. Shamika coordinated the efforts from the hospital end while our internal volunteer Chushani Welagedara took the rein internally making sure that the hospital needs are addressed. There are a few items that are yet to be delivered and we will share all invoices and letters of acknowledgment once received.
