DONATION (2) COMPLETION: URGENT Antibiotics for Galle Karapitiya Teaching Hospital

Over the weekend we handed off LKR 1 mil worth of critical antibiotics to the Pediatric Intensive care unit of Karapitiya Teaching hospital, Sri Lanka!

Dr. W.A.M Shelton Perera (Director, Karapitiya Teaching hospital), Dr. Pradeep Gamage ( Consultant Pediatric Intensivist at Teaching Hospital Karapitiya), and sisters of the unit attended the event. Our SL volunteer, Pramila Silva coordinated and represented Raise Sri Lanka at the hand-off. Thank all of you for coordinating this hand-off so we could get the medicine across to the hospital quickly.

This donation is part of the total donation of 1000 antibiotic vials across 4 main ICUs in the country amounting to LKR 5.4 mil (USD 17,000).
