Dambadeniya base hospital: Urgent Medicine: DONATION (10) COMPLETION

Dambadeniya base hospital requested assistance to procure some of their most urgent out-of-stock medicine. We tried to meet a portion of their requirements based on the availability of stocks from three different local suppliers with a lot of difficulties using the donations we had in hand.

We are happy to announce that we secured the medicine within a few days to the hospital and handed them over to the main superintendent of the hospital Dr. Aruna Wickrama last Friday 29th April.

Dr. Nipuni premasiri, Dr. Sahani premasiri and Mr. Rishmi (Special grade nursing officer) were also present during the handoff.

The staff was immensely grateful and has conveyed that this medicine was not available to be found in Dambadeniya for the past several weeks and due to fewer allocations to the rural hospitals due to limited stocks, the patients have been waiting and this donation is indeed going to help a lot of patients.
