Kalyanipura Vidyalaya - Breakfast meal program

Sharing with you the final set of photographs from the breakfast meal program at Kalyanipura Vidyalaya teaching 70 children from the rural area of Trincomalee. We successfully completed this program in Dec 2022 as starting from 2023 the government subsidy is increased and now the schools will be able to better afford breakfast meals for the children.

We are happy to say that there has been significant growth in attendance due to the meal program in the last 4 months of 2022 with all your generous contributions. Thank you to all who helped encourage children to attend school and provide the nutrition to focus on their education during these difficult times.

This Food and nutrition program is a combined effort by @Hard truths children's society in collaboration with Raise Sri Lanka where Hard Truths have been handling the coordination efforts. efficiently We are indeed thankful to our fellow volunteer team with Harshana Lakmal for taking this effort up and working with us together.
