Natasha's Bday fundraiser -COVID essential food pack distribution

Our beloved friend Natasha Dissanayake Wimalana was the first to create a Bday fundraiser from Sri Lanka. She contacted us was very keen on raising funds for the COVID victims for her Birthday. And she reached her Goal of 200 USD

As you may be aware there are few villages in Thalawa which are "currently quarantined due to COVID". And with the inspection of the MOH Thalawa, 16 families were identified who are currently quarantined and needed these food packs donation during these hard times!

Friday and Saturday with the required approvals, the police starting distributing the food packs to the quarantined homes. As always, we might not personally know these people in the SL forces, but they definitely go the extra mile to make things happen for the civilians. Thank you Jeewan from SL Navy for coordinating the efforts for us!

And especially, Natasha, we are thankful for your kindness. And we really hope you could be happy for taking up the initiative to create a fundraiser to support a cause worth remembering for your special day in 2021! And thank you to everyone who donated, may you all be safe and healthy during this time!
