One of the sanitation units for the year 2023 was for a family of six in Rajawella. Three of the four children are still schooling and the father is working off of daily wages. They currently live in a very poorly maintained home and do not have the wealth to do any home improvements. The whole family has been using the sanitation unit of their neighbouring houses with much difficulty as they have not been having any other option but to plead for their generosity.

Once we heard about this and realized the importance to the family having their basic needs met, with the kind donations from all of you, we managed to allocated funds of Rs. 175,000 for this project.

The initiative was supervised by our volunteers Udayanga Wickramarathne and Amila Ruwanka - We want to thank them for their coordination throughout.
