Happy belated birthday @Kumuthu Muthukumarana !!

These requests for food have been piling up for the past few weeks since covid has brought fear and anxiety into people's day-to-day lives has been disturbed. Since of late, due to the high number of infected patients, the Priority has been for medical aid from many hospitals and therefore we have been tight on donations.

When we explained this situation, Kumuthu have been kind enough to agree to utilize all the donations of the fundraiser (USD 576) to help with the covid impacted families with rations, Today we managed to distribute food packs of Rs. 5000 each to 22 families in Ballapana, amithirigala, waabada and kirillawala . Most of these families were dependent on their day jobs, and now, most of the work has been halted, they are very much struggling to try to make ends meet. 

For today’s effort, we are indeed grateful for the volunteer team of @Hard truths. It’s a time that everyone’s safety is in question and @harshana and the team have done a wonderful job continuing to work with our raise Sri Lanka team during the pandemic!
