Back to school 2022

We do not consider school shoes as a necessity, but it clearly defines barriers among children. Just like having to limit the donations to the most needed among the needed. Most of the children in these schools want help, just like the state of the school infrastructure, the families of these children fight a daily struggle to make ends meet.

As part of the 2nd donation of this project, yesterday, our volunteer Udayanga managed to meet the children of the following schools to donate books for the 2022 academic year. we have attached a few pictures of the happy students and school staff

1. Rajananda Vidyalaya

2. Namadagala Uduwela viduhala

3. Dunuvila mahabodi vidyalaya

We want to thank everyone who donated to the Giving Tuesday fundraiser which made this program a success. And invoices and the list of contributors are attached.

Note that the Remainder of the funds of this fundraiser was unitized for our next 3 rounds of donations which will commence next week.
