Who We Are
We are a non-profit based out in the United States and focused on helping Sri Lankans in need. Sri Lankans living across the globe have joined us on this endeavor where we liaison with Sri Lankans in need and Sri Lankans who want to help. We partner with many non-profit organizations in Sri Lanka to help people who are in need. There are more than 4% people in Sri Lanka who are below the poverty line, who earn less than USD 27 (Rs. 5000) per month. For most of them two meals a day is a dream come true.
We want to step in to help our fellow Sri Lankans to raise them where we can.
We dream of a day where all of us help each other and raise each other to be better and happier.
Help to Learn
There are many who have given up on education because they cannot afford it or they have to support the family. To those children longing to learn and needs a little extra help, we help them by providing books, clothes, shoes, stationery and other supplies.
Help to Build a Home
Not everyone is blessed with their own place to call it a home. We work with our partners to help wherever we can, however we can to put a roof over head of someone in need.
Help to Get Better
When a loved one is sick, we only wish for them to get better. We help people in need with medicine, money for surgeries and medical equipment as needed.
Urgent Needs
Sometimes urgent help is needed, it could be due to a flood, pandemic, or any natural disaster. We help them when they need it the most

Sometimes its a little thing in life that makes a difference.Raise Sri Lanka was Formed to reach families and children with the initial help they need to uplift their lifestyles to achieve beyond their present limitations.And today,one year after inception I am proud to have our volunteer base expanded across all provinces in Sri Lanka. with 100s of recurring donations and contributions exceeding thousands of dollars.The experience and satisfaction I gain by being part of Raise Sri Lanka are priceless.Its amazing to wake up every day knowing someone out there,a total stranger to me will have the best day of their life,just coz their lives are about to change with new hope,dreams,and purpose.I am indeed blessed.

" As a Volunteer on Raise Sri Lanka Team,I get the opportunity to touch the lives of many underprivileged.Most of the people we help earn than dollar250 per month and are below the poverty line.Standard three meals per day are a luxury for most of these families.Education is a luxury, medical needs are the same.But through the charity, we have been able to give them another opportunity to feel equal.I feel blessed to be part of a team that strives to be part of the change that we all want to see.
